Cyber Security Workshops Help Protect Our Critical Resources

The Emergency Management Department joined with the local Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC) and a host of other agencies for a cyber workshop with Jurupa Community Services District. This forum allowed water districts in Riverside and San Bernardino to refine their response plans for cyber events identification of training recommendations and opportunities and solicitating initial objectives for a cyber Tabletop Exercise planned for the near future. The attendees were able to discuss their plan with subject matter experts from a host of local, state and federal agencies. Protecting our water and other critical services is extremely important and these drills ensure all involved are up to date on the latest strategies and tactics required to keep the public safe.
